<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />

<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />

<br />
'불행 속에 행복이 있고, 행복 속에 불행이 있다'<br />

<br />
<br />

"I spent my entire academic career studying the Great Depression. The depression may have started because of a stock market crash, but what hit the general economy was a disruption of credit. Average citizens unable to borrow money, to do anything. To buy a home, start a business, stock their shelves. Credit has the ability to build a modern economy, but lack of credit has the ability to destroy it, swiftly and absolutely. If we do not act, boldly and immediately, we will replay the depression of the 1930s, only this time it will be far, far worse. We don't do this now, we won't have an economy on Monday."<br />

"So you think we might have put a few people out of business today. That its all for naught. You've been doing that everyday for almost forty years Sam. And if this is all for naught then so is everything out there. Its just money; its made up. Pieces of paper with pictures on it so we don't have to kill each other just to get something to eat. It's not wrong. And it's certainly no different today than its ever been. 1637, 1797, 1819, 37, 57, 84, 1901, 07, 29, 1937, 1974, 1987-Jesus, didn't that fuck up me up good-92, 97, 2000 and whatever we want to call this. It's all just the same thing over and over; we can't help ourselves. And you and I can't control it, or stop it, or even slow it. Or even ever-so-slightly alter it. We just react. And we make a lot money if we get it right. And we get left by the side of the side of the road if we get it wrong. And there have always been and there always will be the same percentage of winners and losers. Happy foxes and sad sacks. Fat cats and starving dogs in this world. Yeah, there may be more of us today than there's ever been. But the percentages-they stay exactly the same. "<br />

<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /><div>
<div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
<div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
<div>
<div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
<div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
<div>
<div>
<div>
<div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
<div>
<div>
<div>
<div>
<div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
<div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<div>
<div>
<div>
<div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
<div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
<div>
<div>
<div>
<div>
<div>
<div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<div>
<div>
<div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
<div>
<div>
<div>
<div>
<div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
<div>
<br /></div>

Osip Mandelstam (Jan 15, 1891 - Dec 27, 1938), was a Russian poet and essayist who lived in Russia during and after its revolution and the rise of the Soviet Union.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<iframe allowfullscreen='allowfullscreen' webkitallowfullscreen='webkitallowfullscreen' mozallowfullscreen='mozallowfullscreen' width='320' height='266' src='https://www.youtube.com/embed/CXVHy8PNKow?feature=player_embedded' frameborder='0'></iframe></div>
<br />
<strong>This</strong><br />
<br />This is what I most want<br />unpursued, alone<br />to reach beyond the light<br />that I am furthest from.<br />
<br />
And for you to shine there-<br />no other happiness-<br />and learn, from starlight,<br />what its fire might suggest.<br />
<br />
A star burns as a star,<br />light becomes light,<br />because our murmuring<br />strengthens us, and warms the night.<br />
<br />
And I want to say to you<br />my little one, whispering,<br />I can only lift you towards the light<br />by means of this babbling. <br />
<br /><br />
<br />
<strong>I want to serve you. </strong><br />
<br />
1<br />
I want to serve you<br />On an equal footing with others;<br />From jealousy, to tell your fortune<br />With dry lips. The word does not slake<br />My parched mouth,<br />And without you, the dense air<br />Is empty for me again.<br />
<br />
2<br />
I am not jealous anymore,<br />But I want you,<br />Alone I will take myself,<br />Like a sacrifice, to the hangman.<br />I will call you<br />Neither joy, nor love;<br />Some wild and strange blood<br />Was switched with mine.<br />
<br />
3<br />
One more moment,<br />And I will say to you:<br />It is not joy, but torment<br />I find in you.<br />And, like a crime,<br />I am drawn to you by<br />Your tender cherry mouth<br />Bitten in confusion.<br />
<br />
4<br />
Return to me at once:<br />It is awful without you,<br />I have never felt<br />More strongly about you.<br />And in the midnight drama<br />In dream or reality,<br />In alarm or languor,<br />I will call you. <br />

<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
Now!</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Out of your whole life give but a moment!</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
All of your life that has gone before,</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
All to come after it, -- so you ignore,</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
So you make perfect the present, condense,</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
In a rapture of rage, for perfection's endowment,</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Thought and feeling and soul and sense,</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Merged in a moment which gives me at last</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
You around me for once, you beneath me, above me --</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Me, sure that, despite of time future, time past,</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
This tick of life-time's one moment you love me!</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
How long such suspension may linger? Ah, Sweet,</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
The moment eternal -- just that and no more --</div>

<br />

<pre style="white-space: pre-wrap; word-wrap: break-word;">Maria!
I've just met a girl named Maria,
And suddenly that name
Will never be the same
To me.
Maria!
I've just kissed a girl named Maria,
And suddenly I've found
How wonderful a sound
Can be!
Maria!
Say it loud and there's music playing-
Say it soft and it's almost like praying-
Maria...
I'll never stop saying
Maria!
The most beautiful sound I ever heard.
